The Records Division is staffed 24-hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays, in order to provide service to the community and support to the Beaverton Police Department. The Records Division is responsible for a myriad of tasks including the processing of all citations (traffic, criminal, and parking), and related reports, which often includes the transcription of tapes for officers and detectives. In completing these duties, they are charged with maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all cases via approval processes for the release of information, archives, and data-entry, which are integral parts of the record keeping for the agency.
