Neighborhood Resource Centers
Do you have a problem and do not know where to turn for help regarding available social services in the Beaverton area? Try one of Beaverton's Neighborhood Resource Centers (NRC), which are staffed by trained volunteers (on an intermittent basis) who will attempt to guide you in the right direction to find a solution for your problem. Stop by one of the resource centers and find answers on how to obtain a state accident report, to resolve conflicts with neighbors, to address traffic safety issues, to register to vote, or to obtain a food emergency box.
Beaverton's Neighborhood Resource Centers help establish a visible law enforcement presence in neighborhoods in addition to linking crime prevention and other resource information with neighborhood needs. The resource centers provide facilities for patrol officers to use 24 hours a day to write reports and meet with citizens to discuss issues related to crime and public safety.
For more information, call or stop by one of Beaverton's Neighborhood Resource Centers. Additional information can be made available by contacting Sue Hayes at (503) 526-2562.
