How To Become a Beaverton Police Officer
You Must:
- Be 21 years of age or older;
- Have a High School Diploma or its equivalent GED certificate;
- Have at least 90 college credit hours;
- Have a valid Driver's License; and
- Have the physical strength and agility sufficient to perform law enforcement work.
Testing Process:
- Written examination (passing score of 70% or higher)
- Oral board interview (passing score of 70% or higher)
- Physical agility test
- Background investigation
- Interview with the chief of police
- Psychological examination
- Medical examination
